Ministry report:
Youth Worship Nite at Tabor UMC
Woxall, PA.
October 16, 2005.
What an awesome and exciting time we
had. God moved in mighty, mighty way. The people at Tabor UMC in Woxall, PA were
very friendly to us, they were full of the love of God. Everyone made us feel
right at home. A month ago Tabor's Youth Pastor Nic Billman invited me out to
speak to the youth and Kim to sing. I was overwhelmed by the amount of adults
that came out to the service too. It was a blessing to see so many adults take
interest in the youth.
Kim and I went up a day early to
Woxall, Pastor Nic runs the Burning Bush Cafe, there were bands playing that
night so we went out to support Nic. It was awesome to see what God was doing
with the youth at the BBC, it's refreshing to know that the youth have a place
to go on a Saturday night that is a positive influence. I was so excited at the
BBC that I wanted to jump into the mosh pit and start laying hands on people,
LOL. For several weeks God was stirring in me about the weekend in Woxall, there
was a high expectancy for a mighty move of God. All weekend God gave me many
words of knowledge to speak over some of the leaders and others at the Sunday
night Youth service.
Sunday morning we went to Tabor with
Nancy a friend of ours who attends the church. We went to the youth Sunday
school class, and during prayer my eyes were filling up with tears because I saw
a lot of these youth in the spiritual weeks before, and now I was meeting them
for the first time in the natural. After Sunday school we went to the morning
worship service. There was such a freedom of the Holy Spirit at Tabor. I could
feel God's electricity running through me during worship. You could feel a sweet
anointing of the Holy Spirit.
After service, I went to Nancy's
warehouse where we have minister at before in Perkiomenville. I wanted to be
alone with God, and you could still feel the presence of the Holy Spirit that
was there a month earlier at the Healing Services we had. I put on some music
and did some soaking, I had an encounter with God and He was giving me more
words of knowledge for the youth service.
We went to the church early so Kim
could practice a song she was singing. Nancy, Michele, Todd, Joyce and Cindy
took me, Kim, Nic, and Rachel to the youth Sunday school room to pray for us
before service. As we were praying, God's presence filled the room, there was
such a heavy anointing that we did not want to leave the small class room. But
service was getting ready to start so we had to go to the sanctuary.
The service started with Nic and the
youth praise team ushering in the presence of God through worship. It was
awesome to see so many youth operating in the gift of music and song. Kim did a
solo to Hillsong's Believe. My wife is an anointed soloist. Then Rachel led a
youth dance team, and they did a dance to a Karen Wheaton song. My eyes were
filled with so many tears that I could not see them dancing. Finally Nic called
me up to share my testimony and message. After my message I gave out accurate
words of knowledge that God had given me to share. There was time for prayer and
ministry, so Kim and I called everyone forward who wanted to pray. It was
awesome to see what God did in that service. We prayed for healing and
impartation, families were being restored too. The people at Tabor blessed us so
much, they have a holy hunger for God. We can't wait to go back again. Except
next time Kim and I won't be visitors, next time we will be considered family.
We have a love and appreciation for the people at Tabor. God is planting seeds
of revival in that church, Tabor is going to make a huge impact in that area for
Gods' end time harvest.
Thank you Nic, Rachel, Nancy and
Pastor Al for allowing us to be a part of what God is doing in Woxall, PA.
We were truly blessed.
Here is Pastor Nic's report for the youth service
that he posted on the Tabor Youth Blog:
WorshipNite recap: Praise God!!!
If you attended the October WorshipNite, you were no doubt blessed! The night
was simply amazing and can only be described through testimony. There were about
4-5 churches represented there, we hope to have more of our neighboring churches
join us in November, and more of our neighbors from the surrounding communities!
The Youth Worship Team, all 13 of them, did a great job leading the group of
about 100 in jumping-up-and-down praise, and on-your-knees worship! It was
definitely spirit filled worship and God spoke to the hearts of many! After
that, the Youth Dance team, Revelation Dance Team, did an awesome job praising
The King with the song/dance "Lord, You're Holy". During the dance many people's
eyes were filled with tears as they watched our youth worship God through dance.
Afterwards, there was about a 2 minute standing praise offering! After the
dancers, Kim Gates sang the song "Believe" and it was powerful! Then Mike Gates,
our guest speaker, came and shared his testimony and message. It was powerful
and anointed. God definitely spoke through Mike, as evidence of the amount of
people who went up for prayer after his message, about half of the room made
their way to the altar at some point during the worship/prayer ministry time
after the message. Many of our youth and a few parents were there praying until
about 10:30pm, (sorry, I know it was a school night, but what can I say, the
Holy Spirit was there, and some of those youth weren't moving!).
Rachael and I had the opportunity to receive prayer ourselves and a word of
encouragement from Mike and Kim, however, I also had the awesome privilege to
lead in quiet worship during the prayer ministry time. It was so awesome to see
all of the youth and adults, across the generations, just worshipping their Abba
Father together. To see people of all ages receiving prayer, to see youth and
parents embrace each other. To see youth ministering to youth, and youth
ministering to adults. To see families united and relationships restored, to see
broken people being healed, to see hurting people at peace and to see those that
didn't know Jesus, realize His love for them! Even Mike and Kim were extremely
blessed!
The best thing is, we're doing it again every month! But let's just stop and say
"Praise God" for all that He did, and all that he is going to do!
The next WorshipNite is 11/20, I hope to see you all there!
"Lord, send Your Revival Fire to this place!"
Abundant Blessings,
Nic
